Orders&Quotes: A New Paradigm
Approximately 8 years ago GraphiTech joined, as a Charter Member, a coalition of both MIS vendors and Dot Coms to arrive at a meaningful approach to Ecommerce for the Printing Industry. Although we spent considerable time and money working in this area, the result has been different than we expected. In general, it has culminated in our looking at several new approaches to this promising new method of doing business. One of those approaches has resulted in our development of Orders&Quotes, an exciting and easy to use program designed as both an order platform and as a
method of on line fulfillment based on your customer's order history. The customer simply accesses your web page, chooses the Orders&Quotes Banner Link and then fills out the appropriate Form. Our dot NET versions send an email to you with all information about the job/quote while our dot COM version allows the customer to easily specify exact order requirements. Several new WIP reports: Departmental Tracking, Sales- person and CSR's, plus several in Job Costing. QuickBooks Interface Expanded! The newest version of the QB Invoice Interface is now available for Millennium and includes Historical Ledger, Customer Import, Import Viewer and Ledger QuickBuild. Also, the QB Import Viewer is available as a Download. Also in order to provide more flexibility in how you distribute costs to various revenue accounts, GraphiTech and one of our users, developed a new QuickBooks Invoice Interface that allows for multiple revenue distributions similar to the method used by Infinity and the older KIS accounting programs. Newest Millennium Order Entry/Estimating Now Available! The latest version (1.50.0281) of Order Entry/Estimating is now available as a download. Simply go to the Download Area and select Millennium OrderEntry/Estimating. After you download the program (about 12.8 Megabytes), GraphiTech will email you a final 200K program that will allow you to install the OE program easily to your computer. Without the last disk, the OE Program will not install properly so be sure to wait for the last program disk before proceeding to install. Although we came out with 1.60.0004 earlier this year, a problem surfaced that caused us to roll back the update to build 0281. Millennium Order Entry/Estimating with New Reports! As we have expanded what the Order Entry program was designed to do, it has become increasingly more compatible with previous versions of our programs. Releases now include fully operational multipart capability. Additional recent enhancements that have been made include: Multi-Part Quotes, Multi-Part Bid Form, Summary Total Pricing for Multi-Part Bids, Display of Job/Quote Number at bottom of Order Input Screen, Scheduling Ticket, Expanded Time & Cost Summary report plus some additional reports such as Delivery Ticket, Shipping Labels and modifications to calculation code.
